Terms and Conditions – Ignition E-Bikes
Welcome to IgnitionEBikes.com. By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our products or services.
1. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

By purchasing and using any product or conversion kit from Ignition E-Bikes, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Ignition E-Bikes is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from the use, misuse, or malfunction of our products, including but not limited to our e-bike conversion kits.
Use of our kits is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure proper installation, regular maintenance, and safe operation of any e-bike using our products.
Ignition E-Bikes is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, death, damage to property, or legal consequences arising from product use.
2. Warranty Policy
We offer a 12-month limited warranty on our e-bike conversion kits and components, which is provided by the product manufacturer. This warranty applies under the following conditions:
What Is Covered:

Factory defects in materials or workmanship on kit components only.
The warranty applies only to faults arising from manufacturing defects—not user misuse or riding in extreme or inappropriate conditions.
What Is Not Covered:
Top speed or range performance issues:
Variations in speed or range are not covered, as they are influenced by rider weight, terrain, weather, maintenance, and usage habits.
Battery-related issues such as:
Normal capacity loss over time (natural battery degradation).
Damage from improper use or tampering with battery seals.
Failure to charge the battery regularly.
Storing the battery unused for over 3 months.
Use of unapproved chargers or mishandling of battery components.
General wear and tear, including (but not limited to):
Brake components, Throttle, Display unit, Controller, Derailleur or gear adjustments, Cable tightening, Bottom brackets, Spokes, bolts, and nuts.

Cosmetic imperfections, such as scratches or marks, that do not affect performance.
Damage caused by:
Accidents, collisions, or falls
Water submersion
Improper installation
Unauthorized modifications or tampering
3. Returns & Refunds

At Ignition E-Bikes, we stand behind the quality of our products. However, due to the nature of custom and electrical components, all sales are generally final, except under specific conditions:
Eligible Returns:
Only accepted for items that are defective on arrival or shipped incorrectly by our team. You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. All returns must be pre-approved. Unauthorized returns will be rejected.
Non-Refundable Situations:
No refunds or exchanges for customer errors (e.g., ordering the wrong motor, battery type, or incompatible components). No refunds for change of mind, incorrect installation, or damage caused by misuse. Used or altered items are not eligible for return unless covered under warranty.
Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrectly shipped. We recommend using a tracked shipping method. Ignition E-Bikes is not liable for items lost in return transit.

Restocking Fee:
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, depending on the condition of the returned item.
4. User Responsibility

By using our products, you agree that:

You are solely responsible for the proper and safe installation of your e-bike conversion kit.

You must ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding e-bike usage.
You must follow safe riding practices, wear appropriate protective gear, and perform regular maintenance checks.
Ignition E-Bikes does not guarantee specific performance outcomes. Performance will vary based on a wide range of factors.
5. Legal Use & Compliance
Ignition E-Bikes products—particularly high-powered e-bike conversion kits—are intended for private property use only, unless explicitly permitted by local laws in your area. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their e-bike complies with all local, state, or federal laws and regulations before using it on public roads, trails, or pathways.
Ignition E-Bikes does not guarantee that its products are street-legal in all regions and assumes no liability for any legal consequences arising from the use of our products on public roads or areas where they are not permitted.
Always check your local laws before using or modifying any electric bicycle for road use.
6. Order & Payment Terms
All orders are subject to availability and payment confirmation.
Ignition E-Bikes reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in the case of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other secure electronic payment methods.
Fraudulent transactions will be reported and pursued to the full extent of the law.
7. Limitation of Claims
Ignition E-Bikes is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or products constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
